I am not sure how to properly edit the page just yet, but perhaps it would be relevant to note that Joyce Carol Oates wrote a horror story for a recent McSweeney's story compilation, entitled "The Fabled Light-House at Viña Del Mar", which was inspired by Poe's fragment.

I'm removing the Orphan tag. It's just been added to the Edgar Allan Poe author navigation box, which means it's wikilinked through every other Poe article on there (that's like 50+). I hope that works. Midnightdreary 19:41, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
