[edit] Encyclopedic?

This article doesn't sound so much like an encyclopedic article; more like the "background" text that you'd find at the end of news articles. In particular, there's plenty of redundant text about the age of both the Courant and the Gazette, and many of the paragraphs consist only of a single short sentence. I would consider rewriting the article, but perhaps someone with more knowledge on the topic should take a look at the article first. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 02:25, 26 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] endorsements

unless there is a source, oe the newspaper itself cites the issue when it endorses a candidate, (i.e. Rowland shovelling $$ at downtown Hartford) wikipedia should not opine on why a newspaper issues an endorsement. I removed unsourced POV stuff on the Lieberman endorsement
