I think it's a standard promotional blurb actually. --60.226.1.88 13:10, 27 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Perhaps this article should include mention of the concept of urami and aragami in the Shinto religion?

from the Wikipedia Shinto article: "Failure to show proper respect can be seen as a lack of concern for others, looked down on because it is believed to create problems for all. Those who fail to take into account the feelings of other people and kami will only bring ruin on themselves. The worst expression of such an attitude is the taking of another's life for personal advancement or enjoyment. Those killed without being shown gratitude for their sacrifice will hold "urami" (a grudge) and become aragami, a powerful and evil kami that seeks revenge."

[edit] Yeah, what's the deal? Is there anything they can do, to stop the Grudge?

Yeah, I got really pissed at seeing the Grudge 1 and 2, especially the 2nd movie, since everyone dies, ( except Karen's sister ), and there's no plot resolution, everything in the Grudge 2 movie only shows that the evil grudge curse ( from Japan ), is starting to spread even to the U.S.! Man, I don't mind watching a horror movie, as long as there is some kind of reasonable plot solution and as long as the bad guys go down for good! But all I see is the grudge getting more stronger, spreading more faster, and killing choke people by the day. My actual question is: " IS THERE ANYTHING OR ANYONE WHO CAN STOP THIS GRUDGE? " Come on man, there's gotta be something or someone who can stand up to this grudge. I wanna see a the next Grudge movie with some good and reasonable results; I wanna see the good side winning and not the evil side kicking the good side's butts at every corner and turn. I wanna see that Grudge put away and sent to the afterlife already. Damn, I'm tried of seeing the good guys dying and the bad guys increasing at every corner and turn. " IS THERE SOMEONE OUT THERE WHO CAN SEND THIS GRUDGE TO THE AFTERLIFE? " Come out, man. There's gotta be somebody or something out there who can send this Grudge, down! Until then: " REST IN PEACE, IF YOU CAN? " —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Natldsbluedelta353 (talkcontribs) 08:54, 10 December 2006 (UTC).

What on Earth does this have to do with discussing how the article can look better and/or feel more presentable? Please this is not a forum. AquafireGal 13:02 16th February 2007.

[edit] Deaths section

Makes absolutely no sense, especially the first and last deaths. I fixed most of the grammar errors, but having not watched the film I can't make heads or tails of the intended meanings of those two. Can someone who does fix them? Torca 03:47, 5 April 2007 (UTC)

I removed it, I mean it wasn't even necessary. All of the deaths are described and explained in the plot, besides this "Death Lists" are considered pointless to Wikipedia. There was once death lists for every horror movie article but now they are forced to be removed and I can't say that I disagree because it has no encyclopedic value and it is nothing but pointless spoiler information. [edit] Yoko

[edit] Massive vandalism

I attempted to undo the large amount of changes involving the mildly-humorous change of "Grudge" to "Grunge" as well as changes to every name in the summary, but the "undo" button is useless. Help? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.180.255.245 (talk) 03:34, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Kayako

Hi, I can't spell her name, but I KNOW she isn't a he-she. At one point in the text, why does it say Takayo (Can't spell his either) breakes his next, then refers to her as a she? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.66.35.187 (talk) 16:13, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
