[edit] Queen revival band
The link to the Queen revival band seems like an advertisement, maybe it should be removed. Where it says, ""The Great Pretender" also is a Queen- Revival- Band from Germany. Photos of the Band can be found at: [1]."
[edit] Golf advert
this song has been featured on an advert for the VW Golf. It should be added to the article. I'd do it myself, but I don't know which version of the song is on the advert Daaaveey 23:30, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Great Pretenders of Youngstown, Ohio
Removed the following:
A touring band The Great Pretenders of Youngstown, Ohio continues to be a driving force in keeping classic oldies alive. Derived from the song The Great Pretender by the Platters, the band preserves the original artist's integrity of each song they perform, but with the vocals of three brothers who have been performing professionally together since 1987. Songs performed by The Great Pretenders include classic artists The Moody Blues, Tommy James, Temptations, Four Tops, Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, Neil Diamond, The Beatles and more. Visit www.greatpretenders.com for more information about The Great Pretenders band.
This was clearly put their as an advertisement by the band.Paul 18:56, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] lyric quotes...
The lyrics quotes are nice in the articel as an idea, but I think that they somehow ruin the flow of the article as it is now... Should we maybe remove them till the article grows bigger. Or maybe move them somewhere, where it won't make the first (short) paragraph so sticking out. I don't have a good enough idea... Donny 22:01, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
added the infobox and now it seems better, though I still have doubts. Donny 18:15, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
