[edit] Disambiguation

I seem to have fairly frequently had to fix links to either this club, or the area of The Grange, Edinburgh, which have been confused with each other, in no small part because people tend to call the area The Grange too. I propose to minimise the chances of further misdirects in future, by renaming the present article to The Grange (cricket club) (or The Grange, Edinburgh (cricket and sports club), or whatever people prefer.) The present article title (The Grange, Edinburgh) could then become a disambiguation page to both the destination articles. There might be a case for mildly renaming the article about the area, too. Comments please anybody? – Kieran T (talk | contribs) 14:20, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

Well is it just a cricket club or is it a cricket and sports club? If the former, I think your suggestion of The Grange (cricket club) is fine, but why can't it just be an entry on the page for The Grange, Edinburgh? The thing is, does it really warrant a separate article? Regards, David Lauder (talk) 20:52, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for replying, but in fact that comment is from December 2006 (not 2007 as it may have appeared?) and the move happened long since. Whether the club is notable is another matter about which I have no great interest but if it concerns anyone, it may be a case for a deletion discussion. – Kieran T (talk) 21:28, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Apologies, and you're right. I didn't realise it was 2006. Must be demented. Regards, David Lauder (talk) 08:39, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
