[edit] Cover version
It says there are only two cover songs, then says that Peter, Paul and Mary had popularized "Blowin' in the Wind" earlier. How is this possible? Meelar 19:17, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Dylan wrote "Blowin' in the Wind", so technically the Peter, Paul and Mary version was the cover, even though it was released first. - Lee (talk) 22:26, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)

- Thanks very much, that was quite puzzling. Yours, Meelar 22:28, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)

- Hmm... That was just my knee-jerk, "obvious" answer. Having looked into it a bit deeper it's a bit more confusing. According to the All Music Guide review, Dylan recorded it first but it was shown to P,P&M before the album was released, and then they recorded it. It doesn't say if their single came out before the album, just that it reached number 2 in the "summer". I have no idea how to word that in the main article. - Lee (talk) 22:50, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)

- This page is too long. Nobody will read all of it.--64.136.76.132 21:48, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] John Cassavetes
The cover of the record looks very much like a scene from the John Cassavetes movie "Shadows". Is that a coincidence?
[edit] Sources
Are there any sources for this article? In particularly the Aftermath section.
blowin' in the wind sounds SIMILAR to "no more auction block", but this could be (and i would say is) coincidental. :-\
[edit] Two images?
Image:Freewheelinbobdylan.jpgImage:FreeWheelinBobDylan.jpg
Shouldn't we delete one and make all relavant articles link to the other? (Then delete the above, because I really shouldn't post fair-use images on talk pages.) -MrFizyx 03:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Freewheelinbobdylan.jpg
Image:Freewheelinbobdylan.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 08:48, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
