[edit] The Egg/Ankerdrive

It's been referenced in a few places on Wikipedia (The Egg (disambig.), Roundabout and Magic Roundabout (Hemel Hempstead), so I thought it may as well have its own article. I can't find much information about it though - it's known as "The Egg" in Google Earth Hacks and in a forum post, Ankerdrive in the survey by Saga and on a list of fun junctions, and both on Road To Nowhere, since deleted (Google Cache). SABRE makes reference to Ankerdrive island here and here. The reason I didn't title it "Ankerdrive" is that all the map data and Fixtures Live suggest that Ankerdrive is a part of the roundabout, but not the roundabout itself. Does anyone have more authoritative sources? Elektron 13:47, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Egg User

I don't see what all the fuss is about. I've driven round the egg plenty of times and there's nothing wrong with it. Also it's far, far too big to be considered a round about in it's own right. It's more of a weird ring road. MatthewFP 14:04, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
