This was just a brain dump of what I remember from the book after about a year. I have forgotten the significance of the ending of the book where he meets up with his wife again and she now, right out of the blue, has a baby or something equally lame; I just remember I thought it was a very weak ending compared with the wonderful and original main premise of the story (which I make an attempt at explaining). Let the wiki-ing begin!
