Talk:The Chambers Brothers
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The group used to live on a farm in Stamford CT in the 70's. I don't remember if Brian owned it, or if it was a collaborative owning. They were a high living group, and held some parties at the place. At times you would see them at the Stumble Inn, a local bar in Port Chester, NY. I spoke to Brian a few times and he was quite a nice person. It is sad that he passed on at such a young age, since he was arguably the best drummer of that time.
Like the Youngbloods "Get Together", Time Has Come Today was the anthem of a generation and age. It was an amazing song, that sumed up the ideas and fears of a generation. IT WAS AN AMAZING TIME.
