[edit] Guest speakers and the Bird

I noted the addition of "All cadets in the audience finish this sentence by calling out this name" and have heard elsewhere that all cadets now say "The Bird" in unison. Unfortunately, that takes away the humor of the traditional response--someone would get up to present the statue, usually saying something generic like "On behalf of the cadet wing, we'd like to present you with a token of our appreciation", and cadets would call out, fairly randomly, "Give him the Bird!", implying something less than dignified. - Tarfu92 12:31, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
