[edit] It Can't Be
There would be no possibility that Beyonce Experience DVD will be filmed at Atlanta because during the era of Destiny's Child, theyve been there and released a DVD.
- Ok...and your point is? It's not like they claimed the city as their own or anything...lol!Jdot01 22:23, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
- You're from Atlanta right?haha BritandBeyonce 05:56, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
- apparently she has recorded most shows and will decide at the end of the tour which ones she uses, at the manchester show nothing was mentioned about recording officially but on your way into the arena they had to check cameras when i asked they said it was because she was filming. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.240.128.94 (talk) 14:25, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Canada Tour
There's a date during the summer that Beyonce will be touring Canada at the Air Canada Center. The actual page was uneditable so I'l put it here so people of greater authority can put that up. Also, flow93.5 is offering a chance to win the tickets to her concert.
[edit] Flaws And All
can someone put "Flaws and all" To the setlist, she sings it in sweden here is the proof by her coustume it looks like it is sung on the encore with irreplaceable and listen http://youtube.com/watch?v=-R_fskw8Dk8&mode=related&search=
- We will only put those songs sang in most of the shows. Shall we say, official set list. BritandBeyonce 06:30, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Routing
The Middle East is mentioned. Is she gonna tour in Israel?! [12:57, 13 March 2007 84.109.22.237]
- No, she'll just perform there. BritandBeyonce 06:31, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Praise
Good job to whoever edited this page recently!! I did what I could in the beginning, but I didn't know how to do all that fancy stuff!:PJdot01 00:42, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] What happened?
What happened to that lovely big chart of the concert performances!? It was sourced and everything.Jdot01 19:51, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
- Okay, thank you! It's back.Jdot01 01:45, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- I had removed it. Now it's been restored to something I find acceptable. Please do not put up "available tickets?" type stuff. It makes the page cross the line from informational to promotional. --WoohookittyWoohoo! 04:17, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Tour dates
Wikipedia isn't a tour guide; if there's a site that gives dates, it should be linked to. Long lists of dates of performances aren't encyclopædic. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 09:10, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- no but they look good on a page about a tour. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.241.82.179 (talk) 19:52, August 28, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Article moved
Since the April 4 announcement clearly calls this tour The Beyonce Experience, I've renamed the article to that. I've also redirected the rogue Beyonce Experience article to here as well. Since the tour is now beginning, the actual set list can be included and that edit battle should be moot. Wasted Time R 11:37, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- And as far as I can tell, the final 'e' in her name is not accented in any tour materials. Wasted Time R 11:56, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- The tour materials are either in capitals (when accents are generally not used) or in typewriter typeface, which is stripped down and usually doesn't include accents. Given the fact of her name, I think that the accent should be used unless there's positive evidence against. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 16:24, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

- OK, fine with me. Wasted Time R 18:14, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Set list
Thanks. If the set list is now sourced, of course than should be included (is it really that regimented and unspontaneous? I'm not familiar with this sort of event). --Mel Etitis (Talk) 19:36, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Depends on the artist and genre. In this case, yes. In the case of someone like Bruce Springsteen, no, but general outlines of the setlists are possible and are given in his tour articles. In the case of some other acts such as jam bands, forget it, they change almost completely every night. Wasted Time R 19:46, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
-
- I suppose that I've been to a few rock concerts, and come to think of it some of them (especially a Tom Robinson "War Baby" concert in Oxford) were pretty well regimented. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 20:58, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
To answer your edit summary question of whether the set list from the Tokyo opening show is encyclopaedic, yes it is. (If subsequent shows tweak the set list, as sometimes happen on a tour, it can be so modified.) The set list for an article about this kind of pop/R&B/diva artist tells you a lot: high-energy opening with one of her biggest hits, other big hits thrown in early, lots of momentum stoppages due to costume changes, all the material from her old group relegated to one medley, her Dreamgirls numbers and her biggest recent hit stacked into the encore. More is needed to make this a good tour article — saying who the supporting acts were, a description of the stage set, a description of what went on during the costume changes, a description of audience reactions, some critical reviews from newspapers and others — but this is a start. Wasted Time R 11:31, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- I must say that it looks like fanzine material to me, and the further details you say are necessary strengthens that feeling — vast amounts of information on what is after all an ephemeral series of events by an ephemeral popular-music singer. I should say that I'm not planning to challenge its presence – time's too precious – but I wanted to record my worry. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 13:00, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- What is "encyclopedic"? In a conventional general encyclopedia with a conventional high-culture orientation, the sum of all Beyoncé material would be at most one short entry:
- Beyoncé Knowles (1981—) is an American R&B singer who was the leader of the popular female trio Destiny's Child in the late 1990s. In the 2000s she achieved similar success as a solo artist and as an actress in films.
- Somehow I think Wikipedia has moved beyond that ;-) Wasted Time R 17:38, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Actually, that would suit me (except for the misuse of the term "R&B", which used to refer to music)... --Mel Etitis (Talk) 20:37, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- Why would the term R&B be misused? It was referring to music.Jdot01 15:22, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
- Err... because a lot of people believe what is referred to as "R&B music" today would be better referred to as "crap"? I'm not one of those people, for the record :D... but back to the article: here is a source for the set list. Extraordinary Machine 21:32, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Clean-up
The article is made up largely of (partly unsourced) lists, in poor formatting, etc., to which infomation is being added without explanation or sources. It needs seriously overhauling. --Mel Etitis (Talk) 11:37, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. The "Extras" section doesn't sound encyclopedic at all.Jdot01 00:44, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
- I agree. The trivia section is so messy and doesnt actually help with the page. I think it's better to make it short and factual. BritandBeyonce (talk) 08:11, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Asian Leg
Is there any dates besides Japan?
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:2nd.jpg
Image:2nd.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit] Trivia section
At times it sounded a little biased. It previously said that Beyoncé cried during "Flaws and All" at every show thus far in "The Beyonce Experience" but I have spoken with people that went to the concert in more than one location that have said that she didn't cry, but was just very emotional.
She stated in an interview in may in a british newspaper that it wasn't real crying, although it started out to be but thought it looked good during the show and added it in permanantly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.240.128.94 (talk) 14:22, August 26, 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Change in tour venue
Turkish leg of this tour won't take place in Abdi İpekci Arena as listed, but in Sukru Saracoglu Stadium. It's official and up on Beyonce.com. There might be also other changes, since the list on Beyonce.com is released rather new. If you edit the current list, it would improve the accuracy of the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.100.233.38 (talk) 16:55, 23 September 2007 (UTC)
- You can actually edit it. Thanks. BritandBeyonce (talk) 08:07, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Jakarta concert
From the information I got, the concert will be held in JTEC Mangga Dua Square, not in JCC. IT will fit up to 5000-6000 audience.

[edit] St. Louis concert incedent.
Is the header appropriate? BritandBeyonce (talk•contribs) 08:50, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- I changed the header with "On-tour incident" to be general in form and added the falling and flashing incident with minimal info to get rid of POV. --BritandBeyonce (talk•contribs) 02:34, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 220%
What should we write in the Philippine show? It coudnt be 220%? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.2.207.64 (talk) 14:27, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
