There are several links for albums/songs, which are nonexistent or misleading: e.g. Quench is redirected to another band, so clicking here on the album title will lead to something completely different. Then again, the Wikipedia-help says that disambiuation pages should not be included for mere song/album titles, and doing a disambiguaition page for Quench would just contain a redirect to a band with another name and one-liner about the beautiful south album "quench". What to do? Remove the links here instead?

agreed. The last biography paragraph could easily be used as an example of POV writing. "acclaimed lyricist", "legendary Bill Pryce" and so on. Also a little too much information on a single album with not too much impact as of now. Ulkomaalainen 00:11, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

I've reinstated the fact that this single wasn't featured on an album until Solid Bronze in 2000. I think this is important as it highlights this irregularity within the release of this particular single, as opposed to it looking like an error of dates. Grinned2death 22:08, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

I've added her name to the infobox, as the sleeve notes for their last three albums list her as a full member of the band. The text of the article could do with changing to reflect this as well. PC78 18:10, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] 1 in 7 households in the UK own Carry on... Album

Removed this as it had no source - there are 24.7 million households in the UK so one in 7 would mean 3.53 million households would need a copy. Assuming no duplicates at least 3.53 million copies would need to have been sold in the UK. The all time best selling album in the UK list [1] has Carry On... at No. 75 whilst Kylie - The Album is at 56. Kylie has sold just 2.1 million copies and Carry On... even less. It's not possible! Why should Jacqui Abbott be merged into this article? If the band split, she'll probably have a solo career.
Plus, there are separate terms for smaller things, such as a term for each episode on some show.
I think she should have her own term, and someone should expand it.

Well, at the moment there is no content to warrant a separate article. If content specific to her becomes available then a solo article can easily be recreated. The JPStalk to me 00:42, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
All the other band members have their own articles, so there's no reason why Jacqui Abbot should be the exception. There may not be much there at the moment, but that doesn't mean that it can't be sufficiently expanded. PC78 08:26, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
