Talk:The Adventures of Captain Underpants
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In this episode? What the heck does that mean? Is this something made up? Is this a children's TV show? What is it, other than fodder for being deleted? -- Zoe
I know it as a series of comics for kids. It's real. Danny
Since we've moved all the content to Captain Underpants, can we redirect this there? -- Zoe
It is a pretty popular series. Why should this not have an entry, when every episode of the Simpsons does? Danny
Well, somebody deleted the entire thing and moved it to Captain Underpants. Do we want an empty article lying around? -- ~~
Just turn it into a redirect. Atorpen
Well, just check and make sure ALL of the info is in Captain Underpants
Did someone revert this? I'll be happy to clean it up grammatically since I've nothing else to do, unless this article will only be deleted and assimilated into the Captain Underpants series article.Justanotherguy 01:03, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
I have overhauled this article and improved the grammar and coherence. Captain Underpants may not be abbreviated "Capt." "Capt." is the abbreviation for a military or civilian title held by the captain of a ship or fire company. Similarly, other Captain superheroes are not abbreviated Capt. Feel free to revert the article to before my edits, but I hope you will find it improved. Justanotherguy 01:27, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Captainunderpantscover.jpg
Image:Captainunderpantscover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
