[edit] Disputed Prod
I removed the prod warning and added references from the London Stock Exchange and Radio Today to the station article to affirm notability and remove doubts that the station is confirmed to launch. It is a work in progress at the moment, and I can't do much now because I am at work. I will add a lot more and find more verifiable sources after around 18:00 UTC. --tgheretford (talk) 12:41, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
- Done some more and added info to the article, will add more over time as the station nears launch. --tgheretford (talk) 18:58, 28 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sky Digital
When did theJazz actually become available on Sky Digital and Virgin Media? I'm pretty sure I never heard this promoted on the station until early 2008? Soarhead77 (talk) 10:48, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Online radio stream?
Since theJazz has stopped broadcasting, has anyone else noticed it's still broadcasting a live online stream from its website? They were advertising such a stream as part of the Classic FM online player, but not as a stand alone player from theJazz. Anyone know what's going on with this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 154.32.91.178 (talk) 22:41, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Not owned by Global
The acquisition of GCap by Global Radio has not been completed, so Global are not yet the owner of theJazz. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.236.53.45 (talk) 21:13, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- To be honest, I haven't even heard that Global will even have anything to do with theJazz, even though a generic service is still running on some platforms. Until we know otherwise, we should keep the owner name to Gcap, the owner when the station closed on DAB until Global confirm their position with current generic service. --tgheretford (talk) 22:04, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
- I've reverted the changes in the article. Unless references can be verified and cited that Global intends to keep theJazz going, then essentially GCap closed it down (which has been cited) and that is what we need to go on. --tgheretford (talk) 22:13, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
