Though the image depicted above is subject to United States copyright laws, it is believed that its exclusive use in articles to which it is deemed relevant by consensus qualifies as fair use, given that:

• it is a low resolution logo;
• it does not, to any extent, inhibit the copyright owner's right to market any current product related to the television show in question and;
• it is the official logo of the television show in question, of which no non-copyrighted alternative is known to be available.

For these reasons, it is further assumed that:

• it can be used as a placeholder for forthcoming episodes for which no screenshots have been made available, so long as it is replaced once episode-specific screenshots become available;
• it can be used to illustrate the show in question through its use in the show’s official Wikipedia article and;
• it can be used to illustrate the show in question in a limited number of other articles specifically pertaining to the show in question where no other single image or collection of images could serve this purpose in a more efficacious, concise manner.
