Evolver: The Making of Youthanasia chronicles Megadeth's experience recording the 1994 release Youthanasia, including constructing their own recording studio inside of a warehouse. The video is hosted by Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine, who explains the writing, recording, mixing, and mastering process. While the video is currently out of print, it has been reissued partly in DVD format on Arsenal of Megadeth.

This video shows the recording of Youthanasia in the early part of 1994. Most of the footage was shot in Capitol Record's mobile recording studio outside of Phoenix, Arizona. Among various tunes from Youthanasia being played in the studio, you can also hear "Vortex", along with "FFF", songs that were later released on Cryptic Writings. There's also a video of "Train of Consequences" at the end of the video.
