Deadly Sting: The Mercury Years is a two disc set compilation album of hits, two live versions and two previously unreleased songs by the German heavy metal band Scorpions, released by Mercury Records in 1997. In the U.S. market this album was released with both "clean" and "explicit" album cover art. The "explicit" cover included a woman on the cover. The "clean" version omitted the woman but was otherwise the same. The cover art for both was created by John Scarpati.
