My name is Thanneermalai Lakshmanan and I currently reside in Singapore. I was born, bred and educated in Malaysia thoguh my parents migrated from India. My interests are philosophy, religion(Hinduism, Buddhism, common traits among major faiths), culture(Indian, Chinese and South-East Asian), entertainment(English and Tamil movies) and sports(soccer and cricket).

As for Wikipedia, I believe it to be a'gift from God'. Finally a single globally acccesible medium where users are participants, creators, editors and not just recipients of news. I value freedom of expression, fair reporting and justified representation when it comes to media. For now, I will focus on creating and editing articles in my areas of interest that lack coverage or are misrepresented.
