Is the minor panchayathin in Tallareveu mandal. Govalanka has historical background, previous golanka situated in the middle of gouwtha godavari. In 1972 a big flood was coming. so people are come to right side of gouthami nadi in the village a famous temple called manikyalamma, now day the people follow the tradition of manikyalamma. Govalanka name by the numbers govulu (cows)in the village so name come the name of govulu that later its became govalanka. The govalanka revenue previously part in Pillaka Panchayathi it divided from Pillanka revenue in 1972.
