Thalekunnil Basheer (b 1946) is one of the senior politicians in the state of Kerala, India. He was member of parliament (Both lok sabha and rajya sabha). He was also an office bearer of the Kerala Pradesh congress committee. He is also an author and a columnist with several newspapers.
