Thalassa (documentary)

Thalassa is a French documentary shown every Friday at 9:00pm on France 3. The documentary is presented by Georges Pernoud. It is entirely focused on the sea – geography, ecology and fishing, - transportation and yachting. It is one of the oldest French TV series still running (together with Des chiffres et des lettres). It started on September 27, 1975 and now after 33 years it is still one of the most prominent TV programs in France.
