Thérèse Tanguay Dion, popularly known as Maman Dion, is a Québécois television personality, and the mother of pop singer Céline Dion. She was born on the Gaspé Peninsula as was her late husband Adhémar Dion. Already well-known in Quebec as a powerful stage mother involved in her daughter's career, she later became a host of cooking shows for TVA.
