Texas Border Coalition

The Texas Border Coalition (TBC)is a group of cities and counties located along the border of Texas and Mexico. On May 16, 2008, the TBC announced that they will bring a class action lawsuit against Michael Chertoff (Department of Homeland Security) and Robert Janson (US Customs and Border Protection) in which they allege government abuses in construction of the border fence. The complaint will be filed in the Federal District Court of Washington, D.C. by attorney Peter Schey of The Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law.
