Texas A&M University–San Antonio is a public university in San Antonio, Texas, USA that is expected to break ground in mid-2009. The university is to be constructed on a 694 acres (3 km²) site in the south side of San Antonio. The campus is being built in part due to a plan by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to enroll 630,000 students in college by 2015.[2]
