[edit] Esto gaza
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Esto gaza, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Esto gaza. нмŵוτнτ 07:44, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to Cockatiel, but we regretfully cannot accept instructions, advice (legal, medical, or otherwise) or suggestions, or contain "how-to"s. This original research includes tutorials, walk-throughs, instruction manuals, video game guides, and recipes. The purpose of Wikipedia is to present facts, not to teach subject matter. If you're interested in a how-to style manual, you may want to look at the sister project Wikibooks. Thanks. SEO75 [talk] 09:55, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Cockatiel Edit
The reason you should source everything is because not everyone knows about everything. One of Wikipedia's strengths is that anyone can edit the articles and make them better but this is also one of its weakness's because a lot of unimportant untrue data is put into articles. (Not to say yours was either unimportant or untrue) The way to edit and make an article better is to put valid facts into the article and provide a reliable source where someone can verify the information. Sometimes that is the hardest for the people who know the subject well, because they believe something is "obviously true and is not even somewhat nonsensical." Others who read it, that do not know the subject, might not know agree with that assesment. Without sources the information could also be original research, which is not allowed in Wikipedia.
A few other things that you should be aware of on Wikipedia. First, Wikipedia does not stand for personal attacks. The message you left on my talk page might be interpreted by some editors as a personal attack. Second, always assume the other editors are acting in good faith unless they prove otherwise (like I did with you). Also when you leave a message on a talk page as you did on mine, you should always sign the post. Wikipedia has made this very simple, all you need to do is is type ~~~~ and Wikipedia will put your username along with the time that the post was created. Hopefully this doesn't discourage you from editing, please continue, but try to learn the policies and guidelines for articles. If you need any assistance, let me know.
