[edit] Summary

This picture shows a firestop test specimen following a fire endurance and hose-stream test conforming to ULC-S115 and ASTM E814. The picture shows the underside of the test assembly following the successful completion of the hose-stream test. No water, nor excessive heat penetrated through to the unexposed side, indicating the achievement of a 2 hour FTH rating in this particular case, meaning stability and integrity under fire, as well as temperature and hose-stream resistance.
