My name is Terry Mitchell. I am a software engineer, freelance writer, blogger, avid sports fan, and amateur political analyst from Hopewell, VA. I've been in the software development/engineering line of work for over 24 years.

I update my CommenTerry Blog on a daily basis. My columns and essays regularly appear on American Chronicle's network of 21 online magazines. They have also appeared online on American Daily, Media Monitors International, Opinion Editorials, The Washington Dispatch, Chilltown Online Magazine, and Arrivenet. In addition, I make my columns available on various internet repositories like Isnare, GoArticles, Article Warehouse, Ezine Articles, Article City, and SearchWarp. As a result, my columns have appeared on hundreds of additional websites.

I am a frequent content contributor/editor for Wikipedia. I have gleaned volumes of valuable information from Wikipedia, so I hope to give some back as well. My goal is help make Wikipedia the knowledge base of the Internet.
