Terry B. Ball

Terry B. Ball is the current dean of the College of Religion at Brigham Young University (BYU).

He holds a bachelors degree in botany and education, a masters degree in Ancient Near Eastern Studies and a Ph.D. in archeobotany, all from BYU.

He has written books including Understanding the Words of Isaiah, and Isaiah and the Book of Mormon. Ball has also written highly technical papers related to archeobotany.[1]

Ball also wrote "Agriculture in Lehi's World: Some Textual, Historical, Archaeological, and Botanical Insights" with Wilford M. Hess which was included in the book Glimpses of Lehi's Jerusalem.[2] Ball even applies botanical pinciples to the understanding of Isaiah.[3]

Ball has also written articles for The Journal of Archeological Science.[4]
