[edit] Fictional character biography
Terraxia is created by the Titan Thanos during the time he wields the Infinity Gauntlet. Thanos creates this female version of himself to be a friend and lover and to spite Mistress Death, who continues to ignore him. Terraxia aids Thanos when the heroes of Earth confront him in a bid to strip him of the Gauntlet. In a battle to the death, Terraxia kills the heroes Iron Man and Spider-Man, but is helpless to act when Thanos eventually confronts the cosmic entities.
When the space pirate Nebula gains control of the Gauntlet, she maroons Thanos and Terraxia in space. This proves fatal for Terraxia, who dies from asphyxiation as Thanos did not make her capable of surviving the vacuum of space. Nebula then uses the Gauntlet to undo everything Thanos did within the past 24 hours, which Thanos realises would have wiped Terraxia from existence even if she had survived the rigors of space. [1]
