Terra Cresta is an arcade game that was released by Nichibutsu in 1985.
[edit] Overview
It is a vertically scrolling game in which the player controls a ship in "shoot-em-up" fashion. As the player proceeds through the game, it is possible to gain new ships. These additional modules may either fly in formation around the player, or can combine with the player's ship to form a larger, more powerful ship. Each ship piece has its own unique attack, and each formation (based on the number of collected ships) has a different attack as well.
The player begins with three lives and it is possible to play with either one or two players.
Home conversions of the game appeared on the NES, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, and the Sharp X68000.
