Terence Flanagan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Terence Flanagan (Irish: Traolach Ó Flanagáin) (born January 1, 1975) is an Irish Fine Gael politician. He is currently a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin North East constituency. He was elected in the 2007 general election. He was previously a member of Dublin City Council for the Artane area.
In February 2008, Flanagan made a speech which was notably similar to a previous one by Labour TD, Joan Burton. He initially denied that the speech was copied, and later issued a statement admitting, and apologising for, the plagiarism.[1]
