Talk:Territorial Army
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An employer has a legal obligation to hold open a ta soldiers job for his return, they are only legally allowed to fire him/her if that person had volunteered for service ( and been stupid enough to tell them they had volunteered). The employer is compensated by the mod for removing employees from work.
- This is correct. I have amended the text --80.168.164.39 12:21, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
I do not have the information to edit the article but the section on the present day TA complete omits TA medical Services - the TA arm of RAMC comprising at least 10 units.
[edit] Territorial Force
I've split a chunk of this article off into Territorial Force, where the early form can be dealt with in more detail... Shimgray | talk | 18:20, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] FANYs
I think it might be worth mentioning the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry or at least adding it to the 'see also' list. While it's technically a civilian charity, it is run along the lines of a TA unit and has worked with the TA for a long time. Thoughts? Objections? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.77.3.226 (talk) 09:06, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
