It is named after its primary ingredients. Tennessee is the home of the Jack Daniel's distillery. And Cowboy for the RedBull.
A typical recipe is 1 measure of Jack Daniel's, 1/2 a can of red bull and a dash of lemonade or soda. It is normally served over ice and garnished with a lemon.
The drink was created and became popular in Lancaster, England, as an alternative to the vodka Vodka-Redbull.
