Tennessee Rounders
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Tennessee Rounders are a country music band from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Rich harmonies, solid songwriting, and raw showmanship has led them to share the stage with such acts as Charlie Daniels, David Allan Coe, Billy Joe Shaver, Dale Watson, Robert Earl Keen, Pat Green, and Dickie Betts just to name a few. "New guns shooting old bullets" is how they are sometimes described. Their debut album "Honkytonkabilly" had been well received by radio listeners and personalities alike. The album offers 11 tracks of hardcore honky tonk. The Rounders have finished work on their 2nd album which will hit the streets in October. Their new record is 16 original tracks and covers all corners of Americana music with honky tonk, bluegrass, rockabilly, and even rides a surf wave on a tune called "Flathead Eight".
On 22. July 2007 the band announced on their MySpace-Blog to split.
