Tennessee Lotto Plus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tennessee Lotto Plus is a lottery game scheduled to be introduced by the Tennessee Lottery on March 9, 2008 with drawings on Tuesdays and Fridays, beginning March 11, 2008.[1]

Players choose six numbers out of a field of 44; the numbers can be chosen by the player, or be at random by the lottery terminal, or both.

Jackpots will start at $1 million, and increase by at least $100,000 per rollover. Winners can choose lump sum, otherwise it will be paid in 30 yearly installments. Matching five numbers will win $1000; four numbers $50, or three numbers $3. There will also be a multipler, somewhat like the PowerPlay option in Powerball, which is also played in Tennessee.

Because of the startup of TLP, Tennessee is changing the name of its smaller jackpot game, Lotto 5, to Cash 5.
