[edit] Juju music
Is the tenor guitar used in juju music related to this instrument?
See, for example, this article on King Sunny Adé.

- Interesting; I'd never heard of this. This site explains it as simply a guitar that plays single-note lines (maybe like a finger-picked ostinato), as opposed to the lead, rhythm, or bass guitars. This was supposed to have been first developed by Fela Kuti, then spread from Afrobeat to juju via King Sunny Ade. I believe the "tenor guitar" line would be played by a normal 6-string electric guitar. Badagnani 07:50, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lou Barlow
Lou Barlow has never been known for playing a tenor guitar. he uses a uke, a small <= 6-string or a standard acoustic w/ only 4 strings (see http://www.flickr.com/photos/nailest/2445729285/ or http://www.flickr.com/photos/sidemouse/439724821) in addition to regular 6-string but not a tenor.
