Perhaps this template can better be put at the bottom of a template page, it clutters the page.--Patrick 11:05, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] TfD nomination of Template:Template Documentation

Template:Template Documentation has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page. Thank you.

I'm not sure how useful this template is, as it has drawbacks that are met by using the template doc page pattern (namely, about protecting the template by using an unprotected subpage for documentation). This template is used by many other templates, however should this template be replaced (using guidelines in WP:DOC), and eventually phased out and deleted? Any thoughts?+mwtoews 22:36, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

  • This template is now deprecated in favor of the guidelines at WP:DOC.+mwtoews 17:49, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Obsoleted

I have changed all uses of what used to be Template:Template documentation to the new Template:Template doc, which uses the WP:DOC transclusion guideline. The old Template:Template documentation is saved for posterity at Template:Template documentation/Old. Quarl (talk) 2007-03-09 06:03Z
