[edit] Making this more useful
We should probably have sub-categories for which ParserFunctions are used. Maybe these?
- Category:Templates using if
- Category:Templates using ifeq
- Category:Templates using ifexpr
- Category:Templates using switch
- Category:Templates using expr
(Or, if we want to be more verbose, we could name them Templates using ParserFunction xxxx).
BTW, I asked Tim on IRC if it would be possible to have some sort of Whatlinkshere-magic for finding pages using ParserFunctions and he said it might be. But until then, I think we should try and come up with a way of categorizing templates by which function(s) they use. Thoughts? —Locke Cole • t • c 01:25, 22 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Chemistry templates
Should we put the chemistry templates ({{Hydrogen}}, {{Oxygen}}, etc...) in their own category, since there are so many of them?--Max Talk (add) 18:02, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Do we need this
This is category creep. Eventually, the majority of templates will either incorporate at least a couple parser functions or become obselete. — Jun. 9, '06 [14:50] <freak|talk>
- Hi Freak. I created this out of fear we'd have a hard time finding the PF using templates. But I agree with your sentiment. If that PF stuff is stable enough (as it seems so), there isn't much reason for this cat here anymore. I wouldn't have a problem if you nominate this for deletion. --Ligulem 14:57, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
