[edit] Neutrality

I can't argue the validity of the statements made in this article (most likely all true) but it certainly does seem slanderously non-neutral and therefore in need of re-editing according to Wikipedia's NPOV policy. It's true the methods of the Telly's are suspect to criticism but other awards don't delve into controversies which do exist about their methods. Other award articles don't detail the entry prices. This article currently makes strong insinuations that the awards are a fraudulent money making scam - and furthermore even describes how some winners may misrepresent their hardware. Once again possibly true but without proper credible citations of cases made against the organization or the awards, half of this article is nothing but slander.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.153.195.154 (talk • contribs)

I took it upon myself to delete the non-neutral comments.Konczewski 21:47, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
What is actually the notability of these awards, and how can it be demonstrated?DGG (talk) 05:29, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
This continues to need independent sourcing. DGG (talk) 06:46, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
lol, the only not self-published verifiable sources actually on the article are a forum page and a ebay entry that is not longer visible --Enric Naval (talk) 00:13, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
"What is actually the notability of these awards," - None. It's quite clear, and they even say so on the page. You pay then 70 bucks for them to watch your movie. If they like it, you can send them more money to get a statuette. You could just as well invent your own award, give it to yourselvfand buy a statuette. --Regebro (talk) 20:26, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] please don't close nomination yet

I won't be able to make the changes I promised to the articel until Sunday. I think that those changes are necessary in order to stablish notability according to WP:CORP, so please don't judge the deletion of the article by its current version. --Enric Naval (talk) 08:06, 28 March 2008 (UTC) I'm done with all the changes, can proceed to nomination closing from my part --Enric Naval (talk) 02:44, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Note on Communicator Award privacy policy

Since I was researching the topic I looked at the link for the reference on privacy policy. The wording seems odd because it mentions the Telly Award and from off the cuff review the Communicator Award is a difference group. The correct URL for the privacy policy for the Communicator Award is: http://www.communicatorawards.com/contact_us/privacy/ 67.150.168.131 (talk) 03:10, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

He, I just looked at the new URL, and I see that they finally remembered to replace "Telly" with "Communicator" --Enric Naval (talk) 15:31, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
