[edit] POV check
Given the number of concerns about the tone of this article, it seems functionally useful to run a POV check over it. I'm particularly concerned with the wording of the TVOne section. (and my own proofreading abilities) Rocklaw (talk) 08:39, 27 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Bias
It sure was nice of you to let TVNZ write its own article, New Zealand. It sure doesn't sound NPOV. It sounds like whoever wrote the channel blurbs cut and paste from TVNZ's website - like TV1 complements its lineup with BBC World overnight? and has stuff New Zealanders grew up with, much of it 'award winning'? TV2 focuses on enteertainment and delivers a strong lineup? This article is of amazing concern. 03:43, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
I think the stuff about the role of public broadcasting is extremely biased and needs to be brought back into line with NPOV. There is no objective standard for judging the success of a public broadcaster. The closest you can get to an objective standard is audience share, where TVNZ outperforms most of its peers. There is some stuff under transmission network that is probably more related to television in New Zealand rather than TVNZ specifically .. what does everyone think about moving this to a generic television in NZ article?

- I agree especially if you can add more detail. ant_ie 19:50, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of TVNZ television programming
I moved User:Originalsinner's contribution onto a new page List of TVNZ television programming. User:Matt von Furrie had place this link in his article on TV ONE.Another similar page to this List of RTÉ television programming. ant_ie 19:47, 15 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] TVNZ3
i think TVNZ3 is the same as home so should be ad free
[edit] Political Bias
This article is cleary written by a Labour supporter. It criticises what National did in the 1990's and makes out that Labour is the saviour of TVNZ
In fact TVNZ is losing viewers left right and centre (well maybe not left) as a result of Labours moves to "fix" TVNZ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Thosa270 (talk • contribs) 20:37, 25 April 2007 (UTC).
I agree - the political background commentary is definately NOT NPOV {Gacole 19:13, 3 November 2007 (UTC)}
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:TVNZlogo1980.gif
Image:TVNZlogo1980.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
