The line, "a locally controlled company tied to several members in the ruling People's National Movement government." shouldn't belong on this page IMHO. I don't see where the political backing of competitive telecom companies has a place in the description of another.

Seriously speaking we are going nowhere in Trinidad. TSTT is raping all the Internet customers in this country while the PNM allows it. Internet in Trinidad is just disgustine.

[edit] TSTT Vs. Digicel T&T

Do people here think that there is an uncompetitive attitude with TSTT in relation to granting network access to Digicel and is Digicel right to sue Cable and Wireless and TSTT because of this?

[edit] TSTT *not* an internet monopoly in Trinidad.

To correct some misinformation on the internet services section of the article,

TSTT has never been an internet monopoly in Trinidad & Tobago.

Other major internet service providers are:

Opus Networks, WoW.net, Carib-Link Ltd., InterServ Ltd, Rave-TT.net, Greendot Ltd., Flow

So whoever wrote that article is actually either spreading misinformation or is unaware of the Internet market in Trinidad and therefore unreliable in his/her facts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.58.11.216 (talk) 01:24, August 29, 2007 (UTC)
