The Little Tennessee River Valley (now Tellico Lake), looking south from the Tellico Blockhouse site in Monroe County, Tennessee. Part of Ft. Loudoun can be seen on the right. The Cherokee village of Tuskegee was located on the other side of Ft. Loudoun; Toqua and Tomotley were near the first gap toward the center. Chota and Tanasi were along the banks through the gap in the distance. |
