There are some major problems with this category: the sense in which NBC, CBS or ABC are networks is very different from the way in which HBO or CNN is a "network." We need some way to separate broadcast networks that provide programming to a nationwide network of affiliates from what are really just cable channels. Postdlf 00:33, 21 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Here's a suggestion: perhaps we could leave the existing "networks by country" in place as a step in the category tree, but subcategorize each group into "(American/Canadian/Mexican/British/etc.) broadcast networks" and "(American/Canadian/Mexican/British/etc.) cable networks" subcategories?
