Right now I'm getting back into the groove of reading history (my BA is in History/Economics) spurred by the rather pitiful summary of the gold standard here on Wikipedia -- somehow I don't think Nixon was right when he said "We are all Keynesians now."

Thanks for your putting to rest this business that that editor had put in about the alleged Israel/9-11 stuff, etc., on the site. I'd been taking it out, but your very well-worded edit summary should make it more difficult to salt the article with this biased material.
