Teeny Shiny is the fourth album by Melt-Banana. Teeny Shiny further developed the more "pop" sound of their previous effort Charlie.

It also features reworkings of two older songs "First Contact to Planet Q" was previously recorded as "Sham Bazar" and "Warp, Back Spin" was previously recorded as "Crackhead Up Or Down". Both of these songs have the same lyrics but are musically different. They appeared on a Japanese compilation CD called "Lo-Fi ~Electric Acoustic & Radical~" released in 1995.

At the beginning of track 1 "Free the Bee" there is a sped-up sample from the film "Repo Man (1984 film)" from an innocuous part of the film at about 1 hour and 9 minutes into it. Track 11 "Moon Flavor" is 3 minutes and 16 seconds, then five minutes of silence and a hidden track called "Key to Chase" which is 1 minute and 20 seconds. This song appeared in a 19 second edit on a compilation CD called "Tribute to Fort Thunder".
