Ted Ramirez

Ted Ramírez is Tucson's official troubadour as proclaimed by the Tucson Mayor and Council on December 17, 2001. He was presented the Arizona Culture Keeper Award in 2004. Ted was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona and tours internationally with the Santa Cruz River Band. Ted is the founder of the Santa Cruz River Band. He is a gifted songwriter and musician. His songs offer an authentic look at the diverse cultures and heritage of the American Southwest. He is the creator and host of the "Sounds of Arizona" - a statewide radio broadcast that features Southwestern folk music.
