Ted Childs

Ted Childs is a British television producer, screenwriter and director, whose notable works include The Sweeney, Kavanagh QC, Soldier Soldier, Making Waves, Inspector Morse and its spin-off Lewis. In 2001 he was the recipient of the Harvey Lee award for outstanding contribution to broadcasting at the 2000 Broadcasting Press Guild awards.[1] He quit Lewis during the production of the second series, citing creative differences.[2]
