Talk:Tech-Com
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Aside from an ambiguous reference to the "Terminator franchise" there was no indication that this was an article about a fictional organization. Added the word 'fictional' to the first sentence and a cleanup message. --Yatta 03:04, 10 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tech-Com is a Branch
Tech-Com is a branch of the resistance, not the name of the resistance itself. Please revert this article.
That isnt mentioned in any of the films and so may not be canon, and while it may be mentioned in some of the spin-off material as a branch, I think it is mentioned in others to be the resistance itself. 81.109.230.12 (talk) 17:17, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] A lot of this seems to be based on anticiliary material
such as video games and comic books. It would help if the reader knew that much of the material in this page is not canonical. Serendipodous 15:35, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] original research
Where is it that the T-X is more advanced? It seems much less advanced than the T-1000, and they occur in different timelines... (there is no way a T-X could destroy a T-1000, or for that matter, Arnie's terminator couldn't destroy it either). 132.205.44.5 (talk) 23:46, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
The T-X was designed specifically to terminate other terminators, hence why it is armed with a Nano-Disrupter (.222), which allows it to destroy nano-based terminators like the T-1000 with ease. It's actually a hybrid of the traditional endoskeleton model, and the nano-based models, so it incorporates the best aspects of blt. Perhaps not more advanced per se, but definitely more innovative. Its onboard weapons make it worlds better than the T-1000. So it could in fact, very easily destroy a T-1000, as that is what it was designed to do.
[edit] Known Members
Im not 100% sure, which is why I haven't changed it, but I remember in the Sarah Conner Chronicles episode "Dungeons & Dragons" that Cameron states Derrick Reese was a 1st lieutenant, not a private as listed (maybe insignificant, but might as well be right). Also, Andy Goode isn't on the list, and he was shown to be in the resistance in the same episode.
[edit] Organization Section
A lot of the organization section seems randomly written stuff coming from no source and likely vanity vandalism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.216.51.15 (talk) 05:58, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Organization
Excuse me, but where is this information coming from? In any of the films, or "The Sarah Connor Chronicles", have I heard mention of someone named "Admiral Xavier Ramirez". Frankly, it sounds like a (really bad) RPG character, and stinks of Mary-Sue. Regardless, it has no place in a wikipedia article. 138.251.228.30 (talk) 00:16, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] "Total War" section
The "Total War" section states that Skynet sent the three Terminators out to destroy John at the same time. This isn't true, they were sent out at different times.
The T-800 is said to be brand new in the first movie, but obsolete by the third.
Also, TechCom hasn't been known to defeat Skynet yet. Kyle Reese may have said the war was over, but that was changed with the later movies
Can someone please fix these?
