[edit] Wild World merge

I don't see the rationale here. Wild World is a mega-hit and has countless cover versions, certainly a song that deserves its own article. The article just needs to be expanded, but I really don't think it should be merged into this album's article, considering the song itself is much more famous than the album and Jimmy Cliff's version is more famous than that of Cat Stevens. - Unsigned comment by 70.58.209.143 22:42, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

NP, sure, but get the single info, release date, charts, etc. I am not the strictest when it comes to merging so I'm trying to head off the strict constructionists. I was only ten (by one day!) when it came out and didn't get the album until the 80s, so someone who is more a Stevens devotee should do it. If you don't want to, let me know. --Fantailfan 00:05, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
I agree. There is no real need to merge the articles, and so I am removing the merge tag. A cleanup might be more appropriate...? --anskas 21:44, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
