Let me be the first to say that there are zero benefits to being a customer of both. Banknorth and Ameritrade are run seperately. As far as I know Banknorth still has it's own investment group - Bancnorth Investments. I agree that this page is confusing. I'm no dummy, but I can't get much relevant information about this company from this page. In particular, I came here because I was interested in finding an explanation of the relationship between TD Banknorth and TD Ameritrade, and I am curious if there is any integration between the companies (and thus any benefits for being a customer of both) or if they are two totally separate companies that happen to be owned by the same umbrella corporation and share a name, but nothing else. Neither the TD Ameritrade nor TD Banknorth websites shed any light on this. Cazort 21:43, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
